To Our Loyal Audience
It is with sadness and regret that Brockenhurst Players announce this seasons annual pantomime, due to be staged January 09, has been cancelled.
Being faced with no suitable stage and with a drastic increase in costs imposed at short notice, the group has decided to take a break this season so that they can establish the best way forward.
Pantomime has been a tradition in Brockenhurst for many years, and this decision has not been taken lightly. Many of you come year after year to support us, for which we are eternally grateful. Without a loyal audience, Brockenhurst Players would not have existed for over 60 years. Seeing hundreds of smiling faces, hearing the roars of laugher, being booed and cheered and the whole audience on their feet to YMCA are all things we shall miss this Christmas.
This is not the end however, just an interval in our performance. All being well, we'll be back next year. We hope you'll be there too.
